Professional
Services Database
CKH has always
emphasized the
importance of community. At the request
of Rabbi Baker, Misha ben-David is assembling a roster of CKH members
and their
professional skills. We specifically seek those with human services
skills and training; such as physicians, psychotherapists, social
workers, counselors, etc. By having this information at hand, you
will
have some excellent choices from within the CKH community when you seek
professional services. There may also be rare occasions where it would
be helpful to call on you in an emergency situation. If you would
please take a moment to email Chaplain
Misha ben-David <mbd@austin.rr.com>, you would be performing
a mitzvahs that will benefit the
entire congregation.

Thank You!
Peter and Jean Becker have given a generous gift to Kol
Halev in
honor of Gregory Blum Becker, their grandson, becoming a Bar Mitzvah.
Please join us saying thank you to the Beckers.
Thanks to the following congregants who sponsored Oneg Shabbat
since
January:
Tina
Huckabee and Steven Weintraub, in honor of Shoshana's Bat Mitzvah.
Leslie and
Alan
Davis, in honor of Kara's Bat Mitzvah
Rebecca
and
Scott Van Den Berg, on the occasion of their family namings.
On Shabbat, when a
family does not have a simcha, we often search for a
sponsor of the Oneg. Recently, the following families have come
to our
rescue and sponsored an Oneg because they care about the experience at
CKH:
Eileen
Ladd
Cindy Tarsi
Charna Linder
If you would like
to perform this mitzvah for our congregation, contact Linda Cox,
Oneg Coordinator, at lindacox@austin.rr.com,

appreciated! Dates
currently needing sponsors are: April 14th (Friday Night Alive!),

(6:30 Family Service), June 2nd (6:30 Folk Celebration), June 16th, and
