... High Holy
Days ...
For details of
other events, including our High Holy Days observance, please
visit our home
page and our calendar..
Additionally, if you would like to help plan or prepare for our
observance, visit the High
Holy Days page or email the
committee.
As most of you know it takes a great deal of
participation and coordination to provide the wonderful high holiday
experiences that we have come to know and love and Kol Halev. For
those of you who have been asking yourselves "What can I do to help
this High Holiday Season?", here's an easy answer... Work with
me on the Rosh Hashanah Oneg. It takes very little time and it's sure to
be a "sweet experience". I need people to bring delicious food
to share - the usual oneg fair - challah, sweets, fruit, veggies, etc.
plus apples and honey to bring in the New Year. I could also use some
help putting the food out, cutting apples and cleaning up afterwards.
Please send me an e-mail at mchandlerlmsw@sbcglobal.net
or call me at 394-0993. Michele Chandler
Remember, it takes a whole congregation to build a
memorable high holiday season.
Haftarah Readers/Blessers Needed!
We need a Haftarah blesser (Hebrew) and reader (English) for the
second morning of Rosh Hashanah. Please contact Cantor Sherwin:
947-7270.

... and
Beyond ...
Please return your membership packets.
All members should have received a membership packet for 2006 -
07. (If you have NOT received yours, please contact Cindy at
419-0945 or administrator@kolhalev.org
.) Please return your packet as soon
as possible. Your commitment (financial and
volunteer) are greatly appreciated.
Donation
Opportunity.
If you have a
not-too-old computer that you are replacing and would like to donate it
to the CKH office, please contact Cindy Tarsi at
419-0945 or administrator@kolhalev.org.
This is a great opportunity to help your congregation; receive a tax
deduction; and save space in the landfill.
