This Week at Kol Halev:

Folk Celebration of Shabbat and Simchat Torah, Friday, October 13th, 7:30 pm, ECP Multi-Purpose Room.
Sing and dance joyously as we read from the end of the Torah and then from the beginning, completing the year's cycle. We will have a special Oneg Shabbat, great live music, and fun!

Chevrat Shlosha Devarim (CSD), Saturday, October 14th, 10:00 am, JCAA Community Hall.
Celebrate Shabbat Shimini Atzeret with CSD. Join us as young and old alike help lead this warm and intimate service. Many of our B'nai Mitzvah students (past & present) lead prayers and chant Torah.  Now that Yom Kippur is over and we can eat again, we offer a great opportunity for you to grab a part in our service and enjoy a meal with good friends.  Please contact Reuven Robbins (453-5456 or rrobbins@austin.rr.com) if you would like a part in the service. A kiddish luncheon follows the service. If you would like to help sponsor the luncheons, send your tax-deductible contributions to the CKH office (with a note designating if for this purpose).

Lunchin' in the Sukkah with Cantor Robbi, Thursday, October 12th, 11:00 am - 1:00 pm (drop in anytime), the CKH Sukkah in the J's K'far Sukkot (Sukkahville!), BYOL.
Cantor Robbi warmly invites you to share in the mitzvah of dwelling in our Sukkah for a casual lunch. We'll eat, schmooze, and shake the lulav and etrog and count the many blessings we have at CKH! All are welcome!

.... Lost and Found ....

LOST: Were you at the Sukkot in the Sukkah celebration on Friday, October 6th? Did you take home an extra spoon? Amy O'Desky lost a serving spoon. Amy says, "It is an Oneida fancy serving spoon with 3 slits in the center. It's shiny and silver in color." If you found it, please contact Amy at aodesky@austin.rr.com.

FOUND: Black zippered sweater jacket left at the Sukkot potluck on Friday. If this sounds like your sweater, please come to the Kol Halev office to claim it. (Call ahead, 419-0945, to make sure someone is in the office.)
