This Week at Kol Halev ....

Kabbalat Shabbat, Friday, April 11th, 7:30 pm, ECP Multi-purpose Room.
Join us for our regular Friday night Shabbat Service.

Chevrat Shlosha Devarim (CSD), Saturday, April 12th, 10:00 am, JCAA Community Hall (150-D).
Join us as young and old alike help lead this warm and intimate service. Many of our B'nai Mitzvah students (past & present) lead prayers and chant Torah. Please contact Reuven Robbins (453-5456 or <rrobbins@austin.rr.com> ) if you would like a part in the service. A kiddish luncheon follows the service. If you would like to help sponsor the luncheons, send your tax-deductible contributions to the CKH office (with a note designating if for this purpose).

Annual Second Night Passover Seder
Sunday, April 20th, 5:30 pm, JCAA Community Hall.

We have plans for a wonderful Seder with delicious food (catered by Pascal’s)!
Plan to bring yourself, your family, and your friends!

Adults: $28        Children (Pre-Bar/Bat Mitzvah age): $12
Please send your check (to the CKH office) with names of people attending and how many adults and children.
Reservations will be accepted until Friday, April 11th.

Marcia Hoffman (chair for this event) is looking for a volunteer to man the kids craft table before the seder begins. If you can help, email her at <sungoddess47@hotmail.com>.

Mazel Tov

CKH member Ian Crawford has been named KUT News editor. Previously, he was a reporter/anchor for Austin’s KLBJ radio, where he earned two Texas Associated Press Broadcasters awards.  Originally from Oregon, Ian began his radio career while still a sophomore in high school, working as a music host, sports announcer, news reporter, and anchor.
Ian is married to Sarah Reynolds and serves on CKH's Board of Directors. Mazel Tov Ian!

"Max" Millar was born on Wednesday, April 2nd to Rachel & Kris Millar.
Mazel Tov to Max's proud grandparents, Karen and Bob Glina.

Joseph Krassner Memorial Poker Tournament and Casino Night, Sunday, May 4th.

JCAA Gymnasium.  Individual Tickets $180, Table Sponsors $1800 (includes 10 tickets).
